2016 Info Screen Defaults to Towing
Got a quick question on my new 150, ever since this last weekend when we went up north and towed our travel trailer, it seems that anytime I get in and start the truck up the info screen defaults to Towing. I can drive it around and leave it in Digital Speedo or Fuel Econ but the next start and it's back to Towing.
Anyone seeing anything like this? Kind of annoying having to reset the screen back to where I want it in the first place.
Thanks in advance,
Miguel

Mine does that when a trailer is connected, but not if there is nothing there.
Do you have anything plugged into the trailer hookup?

No the connectors are clean, the only thing I can think of is that the trailer brake controller didn't come with the truck I added it myself and used Forscan to enable it, but this wasn't happening until just a couple of days ago, I can't even recall if it did it after I parked the trailer in the storage lot. Main reason I tossed the question here, seemed odd that it all of a sudden started to do it.

Once you hook up a trailer....named set up....4 pin or a 7 pin....you will need to select the right trailer if you have more than one....it logs mileage for record on each trailer.....once disconnected....you need to exit the screen by selecting...screen ...select trailer in towing......no active trailer...this will stop the screen from poping up on each start up

Well OP, since you are new to the forum and also have a new truck, I'll be polite.
If you follow the advice in my sig, you will find stuff like in the pic. It will save you some aggravation, and spare you from RTFM comments, LOL.
