Default 2016 factory tire size

I have a 2016 F150 Lariat that came stock with 265/60/r18 tires on. I noticed that on fords website all of the factory options are 275/65r18. I didn’t see any options for my size. I have 3.73 gears. Does that mean I effectively have something similar to 3.99 gears given my tire size is 1 step down from factory spec? Or am I still considered geared as 3.73 with the tire size that came on my truck?
Would this also make my speedometer off?

Anyone else’s truck come off the lot with 265/60r18 ?tires?

Something doesn't sound right. If the rest of the 18" rims come with 275-65 then yours should to.

I'd be inquiring with the dealer.

A 2WD Supercab and Supercrew comes with that size tire. If you have a 4WD, then the dealer switched them out for some reason or they messed up at the plant (doubtful).

i think you’re right. I went back and changed it to 2WD and it does give the option for 265/60r18. My truck is 4WD, so it must have been switched out sometime before I bought it.
I will probably be looking at 275/65r18 when it’s time to replace them. Thank you again.

When I purchased my 2016 F150 Lariat 4X4 new it had the same size tires on it from the factory as yours, 265/60/R18. I updated it to 275/55/R20s. My current 2017 has 275/65/R18s on it.

The door sticker has the original tire and wheel size as from the factory.

My truck came with the 265/60/R18's as well, which matches the window sticker. My next set will be 275/65/R18 of some sort. With my Dodge Dakota's I always used Bridgestone or Firestone tires. I'll likely do the same for my F150.

My '16 XLT which I believe has the original tires, came with 275/65/18's which matches the door sticker.

Strange, I wonder why my truck came with smaller tires than most? I'm far from impressed with the Hankook Dynapro HT's that are on it. I have 30k miles on the truck and will be lucky to make it through the winter with these tires. I rotate 'em every 5k miles and run at 35psi.
