2016 F150 - love it but disapointed

A few disappointments of note -
Sirius radio quality is terrible... Need to partner with someone else for stereo, should have used a bigger monitor also.. could have made it a bit wider.
Mirrors, tow or otherwise should be able to be programmed with the MyKey system to fold in when the truck turns off.

I also LOVE my new F150... but have to say I'm disappointed in the fit-and-finish of it in general.
Both front quarter panels and hood were misaligned. Rear passenger door is inset and not flush on the upper part of the door. Inside, some of the trim is misaligned and not fully flush with it's edges and surrounds.
Ford took care of me and had these "fixed" under warranty... in that they just made the gaps wider on both sides of the hood so they kinda look the same... now the lines at least line up, I just have large gaps on either side of the hood.
The door... well, body shop guy just said... can't really fix a door that doesn't fit right... I can make flush here, but it'll stick out there etc.
In general, the performance and features are fantastic.
Just feel kinda shi**y about spending all this money to get what two dealers have now called a "friday" truck.
It's 2016.... I'm coming from Toyotas, have never seen any sloppy body panels. You think Ford could hang a door straight by 2016.
I still love the truck though...

You bought a cheap trim level in comparison to what else is avaliable. With the money you saved, make it how you want. That's what I did with my 14' stx, and I looked over every trim level and drove a ton of them to see if I'd be happy with it.

Agree on both - my Rambler is almost too BIG for the holder. Wife complains it't diffucult to remove the Rambler
I was thinking the same thing.. I have a 30oz Yeti Rambler and I have to give it some oomph to get it in the holder

Calm down fanboy. Don't defend Fords poor quality. Keep an open mind.
