That's great!i believe several of us on here have the Lariet Special Edition on order. My dealer was just told they were on hold due to "supplier issues" whatever that means.

Please let us know what you find out and which factory he works. What does your brother install on the line? Just curious!

He works in Dearborn, doors/windows. He takes forever to text back. He's technology challenged.

I ordered a '16 Lariat in December, supposed to be in in a few weeks. kinda glad i didn't get the Special Edition due to the delays. Opted for only the Sport appearance. Wife thinks the decal on the SE was too tacky anyways

Yes, but the window Sticker was only available from Researchmaniacs a week prior to the blend date listed on the sticker, and about a week after I received the VIN from my dealer.

I've had a Lariat Special Edition on order since October. Not even a build date has been assigned yet. Yes, it does appear something with the Lariat is delaying the builds vs. XLT.
