My f150 has 43k miles and has developed a bad throttle body. Goes into limp mode. Code 2112 among many others.
Took it to my dealer and they want $500 to replace. I was sure I read that it was covered under power train or emissions warranty. I need advice on how to get ford to cover this

nope throttle bodies for whatever reason are 3yr/36k mile only.

Unfortunately you're out of luck. I would look at one of the aftermarket out there.

Well an update.. my dealer. "Stivers Ford" in Walkee Iowa covered the repair on there cost. It was only a few hundred bucks but that earned my business on my next truck.

Good that the dealer provided the goodwill. My TB was changed out six months in under warranty. It gave up the ghost again earlier this year. Changed it out myself for a newer revision OEM TB from Tasca for $125.
