Default 2016 20" Aluminum Platinum Wheels on an XL

Has anyone swapped the OEM 18" XL wheels for a set of factory 20" Aluminum wheels from a Platinum? I'm just curious if the TPMS system is the same and use the same tire pressure sensors.

They should all use the same TPMS but you will need to sync them. Also, the only difference is going to be that the platinum wheels may be smaller / larger diameter than current so your speedometer may be off, but I doubt it will be off by more than 1 - 2 mph if any

I just stopped by the dealer parts department to confirm that information and the sensors are in fact the same.

I have platinum wheels on my XLT. No reprogramming needed, the sensors paired by themselves. And my speedo is off since they came from a 4x4, so when it says I'm going 60, I'm really doing 62. Not a big difference and I can do the math in my head

What size wheels were originally on your XLT?

Maybe the same 17" wheels that are currently on my 2016 F-150 LX?

Here are the platinum wheels on my 16 XLT SCrew 2wd. I added about 1.5 inches overall due to larger wheel diameter & tire size when I made the swap.
