Default 2015s in snow??

Just wondering how the "lighter" 2015s are performing in the snow? Some of us put cat litter in the bed and now the aluminum is doing a Jenny Craig to our trucks. Just wondering....

I was out in about 8" and it did pretty good. I do put weight in the bed regardless of what truck I drive in snow. Tires were the factory Hankooks.

My 2015 KR is much better in snow than my 2013 limited was.. However, I suspect that the tires were a big part of the difference, Limited had 22" rims with Pirelli tires, great summer tires, winter not so much.

700 lbs less or not, it's still a 4k+ lbs truck, it's not like all the sudden you're driving a sub-2k lbs RWD sports car...

mine really surprised me, seemed to do better than any of the older model 07','11' and 12' f250 my dad has had.. I work shift work and come and go to work at odd hours before the roads are able to get treated, does well in 2wd and 4wd seems to be a tank. never felt a need for extra weight in the bed, Im used to rwd sports cars and knowing when to be easy on the throttle.

Last snowing weekend on long Island and the lariat with stock Goodyear wranglers did great, up or down a hill plowed or not not a problem... no need for extra weight...

The pirellis are the worst winter tire I ever had-I despised those things.

I have to disagree-I took a lariat for a test drive today with those tires and it handled very well. I have driven everything (AT, studded, siped), and was impressed. Particularly considering that we have had a combination of a lot of snow and freezing ran over the last couple of weeks, so the roads are a mess.
