2015 V8 5.0L 1/4 mile
I figured I'd start a new thread with just posting our findings.
I used a mobile app called Car Performance Free edition to measure my results. GPS accuracy was set to high for the test.
I did 3 tries and they kept getting better. I will say the 5.0 has a bit of a dead spot but after that its look out. I guess a lower geared rear axle would help too. So its a 4 door XLT with traction control off (double tap) with diff locked and in Sport mode. Fuel is 87 with 10%. This is what I got. Sound off you guys

I'm sorry but I'd say that data is off at least 2.5 to 3 seconds on ET with a 2.457 60'. The 1/4 ET should be around 15.2 to 15.5. ETs are made in the first half of the run and that slow of a take off is not going to net that fast of a run

when a stock F150 runs 12s in the 1/4 mile, sign me up!
you say the app is free, well you got what you paid for!! hey, if anything you can brag about your 12s truck!

Eelect, curious to your thoughts on the times? Like, the fact that you care about 1/4 mile times at all would imply that you probably read about good times, etc. But when 5.0 mustangs and their counterparts are shooting for 12's as the horsepower wars have skyrocketed...you can't expect the F150 stock to be anywhere near that

Not to mention that the top speed is too slow. He should be in the 110-115 mph range.

I let off the gas to early for the top end to be any higher. But like you guys say its done with and app. The best thing is download the app and compare your trucks. Truck is too new and nave never drag raced or anything just posting numbers boys. Download app and post your findings.
