If and when I buy its gonna be XLT....302A package.

Want to try cloth seats again....but the console version.
Don't need all the doodads on upper trims.
Chrome bumpers for first time in forever.
The XLT package is just as nice as the luxury FX4 package on my 11....minus the leather.

Once you've owned a Platinum (2011), It's hard to choose anything else :-)

Modern truck has been used in a lot of ways. It depends on what kind of job and lifestyle you are in. Many people prefer a luxury truck like the Platinum or King Ranch than any other luxury SUV or cars because of its versatility, size and more masculine appearance.......

XLT Scab Sport FX4 Max Tow Ext Fuel Tank Magnetic 302A Tow mirrors

I did not want chrome or leather seats. Wish I could have speced the power folding tow mirrors but they are only available on the higher trims (with leather).

I started looking at Lariats. Then decided that with all the options I wanted it wasn't much cheaper than a KR or Platinum. It finally came down to the vehicle I wanted on my local dealers lot. I've only twice ordered a vehicle twice and both times it was less than pleasant. Now I buy something I can drive right off the lot. Platinum.

I dont have my truck yet but I'm planning on getting just the XL crew cab (I like the black grill with the nostrils), 3.5L, 5 1/2 box, 101a, sport package, reverse camera, center console and interior lighting.

Plan is to order around spring time next year after wife's SUV is paid off. Wife said if I want my truck now, I'd have to trade in my G37 coupe. Otherwise, I would have to wait next year and have both.

I'm new to the truck modding scene and I'm learning a lot from this forum. I already have a few mod plans in mind for my truck build. I can't wait!

Lariat 502A. Do not want disappearing running boards, tailgate trim but want grey interior. Leaves little choice. Think I would like the Massaging seats but could not get with other needs. 5th Lariat.

Dual zone climate was important to us on this purchase so that meant minimum of Lariat. I also wanted remote start and sport appearance so 501A it was.
