Lol! I'm trying to translate his post but it's very difficult. I have no idea what was trying to be said.

What the F are you talking about. Read it for what its worth not for what your female perspective tries to tell you..You are so off base when you read peoples threads and then make commentary.

That Hemi and 8-speed is a tough combination.
Coming from an Eco owner who loves his truck as much as the next Eco owner, I agree that the Hemi 8spd is a really good combination. That new tranny really woke that truck up.

My biggest issue with the data from pickup trucks dot com is the choice of trailer. Did anyone notice how well the Hemi performed while pulling 8500# versus how poorly it performed with 1200# payload? Leads me to believe that there would be a different outcome if you add another 1500 to 2000 pounds of trailer on. Oh, right. That was the maximum trailer the Ram is rated to handle....Damn coil springs...

Default 2015 fx4?

I've noticed that STX, FX4, AND LIMITED are missing.
I sell fords up in canada and most of my trucks last year were loaded FX4's.
Can anyone comment if this is correct?

The hemi is only rated at 8500?

The hemi was .7 seconds behind the ecoboost to 60mph with a 1200# payload

If you want to use the term 'poor' to describe it's .7 second deficit, I'm interested in which word you would chose to describe the ecoboost's almost double (1.3 second) deficit in the 0-40mph 8500# trailer test?

If those numbers were reversed it would be "See, the hemi can't handle big loads, it might perform okay with 1200 lbs, but when hooked to a heavy trailer the real truck came out on top!"
The double standards here are nauseating

Also, how many people are towing over 8500# with their half ton trucks in the first place?
Let's try and be a little realistic here at least.

Besides, all these tow ratings up until now have been ridiculously out of touch anyway.
Have they not all agreed to conform to some sort of actual standardized tow rating process in the next couple years, rather than just writing some big number down on paper to one-up the closest competitor.. ?

As far as I know and read online, the FX trim is now a package you can add to the other trims, even the XL.

Correct, I believe the FX package is an option at the XL level and is even in the specs in post #1.

I hope Ford fixed the HVAC on the 2015's. The current system has alot to be desired. In the summer, the highest setting barely kept the cabin cool
