What I don't understand is why did ford ditch the aluminum control arms from 2008 in 2009?? Also, if they're the same, would inter-changing them be beneficial??

5.0 comes in King Ranch and Platinum - I guess you can get other engines too? As if I'll have to make that decision! I wish!!

Anyway, I'm loving what I see for the '15!!

Hopefully we can plow with the 2015. I beleive I saw a picture of the 2015 with a Boss plow on it. I would also love to see the limited slip come back. I hate the open wheel in my 2011.

At the Detroit Auto Show (NAIAS), they had a red 2015 (FX4 package, don't remember which trim level) with a red Boss plow on it. Didn't see any literature on it, but clearly they're hyping it up as if the 2015 is plow capable.

I was kind of hoping for the same thing but i guess i dont really care just as long as they can get it smoothed out. I had a 11 and now a 12 and i have never owned anything else that has had such a harsh shifting transmission. I was in 3 times for my 11 and once for my 12. They did updates and reflashed it and nothing. Love my truck just not the trans.

Limited slip never left. It's always been an option and most likely always will.

Still not enough of an upgrade to trade in my 13 SCrew. The only thing that might have made it worth while is having a SCrew with 8' box. I'm used to driving the longer trucks anyways, plus I could fit more in the back. Should be an interesting first year of sales though. Also it is nice that the XL is getting more options than they used to. Smart IMO.

Regular cab short box 4x4 XL with the FX4 package i'll buy if there's not massive discounts on the 14's.
