2015 tailgate LED bar install question
Hello all,
I want to install an LED lightbar under the tailgate of my 2015 Lariat Screw.
Completely open to alternative suggestions but I have been looking at this one:
My main question is has anyone seen a step by step (or even a general one) tutorial on installing this in a 2015? Most of the threads I read through searching say to wire it into the tail-light to avoid any "truck thinking a trailer is attached" issues. This is what I would like to do but wonder if there is anything to help guide me on which exact wires to tap into and where for each of the functions of the lightbar. I checked in the lighting specific forum as well but didnt note anything recent involving the 2015 specifically.
Thanks in advance for any help or pointing me in the right direction.

Yup, on the 15s you need to tap the tail light wiring as to not mess with the trucks computer. So it doesnt think you have a trailer connected, when you wire into the trailer harness!

Thanks!. Happen to know of a tutorial with pictures or a description of wire colors and location to tap into? Or a youtube video, etc.? Cant seem to find anything to help me get going on this one.
(My previous truck I would hack into without thinking twice. But this big brand shiny new one I am still a little gun shy!)
