Mine looks like "pleather" to me rather than real leather. If it's real leather it's the really cheap stuff. I've thought seriously about finding a lace-on leather cover to put on it.

I think the XLT leather wheel is fine. It is rough grade leather but provides for a good grip.

Actually I was wrong, it's on 301 and 302 package. Maybe you have it and it doesn't feel like leather to you, which is basically what I was complaining about. Not the best quality, but it will break in some more

My wife's Kia Soul has the ! package which includes a very nice leather wheel.


It feels a lot more luxurious than the one on my F150 (302 package). But it also feels a bit cold when it's cold out, I think this one will not feel as cold but I'll have to wait and find out.
