Default 2015 King Ranch center console arm wrest won't stay open
Looking to understand if this is a manufacturing issue or if mine is broken..


Basically on my King Ranch if i open the center console storage compartment the lid won't stay open by itself..

Is this normal? If normal has anyone done a mod to fix it? I have no complaints with my truck other than this.

It's probably that real leather making it too heavy to stay open.. Don't have a problem on my Lariat's with the fake leather.

My Lariat's lid can barely stay open on its own, too.

True but it will right? That's how close they are to not staying open where with all the real leather might be the tipping point.

Hint,, park pointing uphill if you need the lid to stay open.

15' Lariat and also doesn't like to stay open. Just falls back down.

My Platinum cover stays up. I tested it at lunch.

Just checked mine... it stays open on my 2015 KR, and you can feel the spring tension that is holding it in the vertical position.
