I think I have a counterfeit Ford,, a real Ford would be made better for this price.

Honestly, it depends on how much momentum it has when opening. If I'm real delicate with it, it'll kind of dance/hover over a few inches at the top of the range, but if I open it very quickly it'll swing right back closed on me.

My 2015 KR stays open on its own without issue.
I can feel the spring tension holding it open.

May want to get it looked at next time you drive by the dealership.

1) Tried a KR, and like kfd above it holds open. Just like my Lariat, and
2) Ignore the jokers who are making it tough to hang out here.

Hello all. I am new to ford and this form.

My 15 Platinum console won't stay open either. I'm gonna call the dealer or at least take a look at a few on the lot to see if they do. If anyone gets answers post please!!!

Just wanted to add my center console armrest won't stay open either. I drove by the dealership and tested a new one, not only does it stay open in the wide ope position, but it held pretty well at about 70% open too. I'm definitely making a service appointment to get them to fix it. My dealership kinda sucks, in that they need me to make an appointment just to come out and look at it and say yep, we will order you a new one.
