Wow! This took an unusual turn. I don't know how or why politics weaseled it's way in to the conversation, but my guess is that ANYONE sitting on the side of the road in a brand new 2015 f150 would be cussing and calling the truck a POS. It doesn't mean it really is, time will answer that question. But the OP certainly had reason to feel that way. I'm not sure there's anything else to add to this thread, it's a shame because it has been entertaining!

Not happy about replacing my rear end. Having to rebuild it cost me 1200.
Advice to those that hear a unusual whine, its a lot cheaper to replace bearings.
Do it yourself or take it in to get it checked. I waited to long. Its only metal, a inanimate object, but still I wouldn't call it a POS. I like seeing it waiting to ride, its a 2010 not a horse. But still I like it, after whatever I'm doing its ready to go. I take it for granted lots of times, but after a visit to the doctor or a restaurant, its looking good waiting to ride. I blame myself not getting the bearings checked/replaced. I'm loyal to my machine. After work or whatever its parked looking good, ready to rock.
Some people don't do anything to their truck, no mod what's so ever. Then there are truck people, we may have cars, but don't have the same room or feel. I look out over my hood and I really like the view. Truck people dig trucks.

Did not think it was possible, but it happened! This thread went from bad to downright underground disasterable. (for the layman, thats disaster and terrible combined into one)
OP, Dangit my tranny blew and its a new truck, what a POS. Others, Oh so sorry, OP, Well Ford stepped up, fixed it, I like my truck, no longer a POS.
Others, Damned Ecoboost is POS. Ecoboost sucks, Ecoboost is bad mojo. Somehow some politics got mixed in.
This thread has become a POS.
My 2014 F150 Screw Ecoboost turned 2700 miles today, purrs like a kitten, gets great gas mileage, What a non POS it is.

For all those of you who say piece of S**t (POS) truck...this is what a piece of S**t truck looks like. If your truck looks like this, then it is a piece of S**t and you should get over to your Ford dealer as soon as possible. If your truck looks like the ones at your Ford dealer, then it is NOT a piece of S**t.
A little clarity for those uncertain of what POS is...

If your truck looks like THIS:
Then you have a bonifide POS truck.
Bonus points to anyone who can identify what brand of truck this is.
