No need for that, I just am concerned now about its reliability, that's weird I know. I had so much confidence in my truck and now it's gone. Your truck gives you freedom, reliableity, confidence and it gets me to and from work. I depend on it to help me live and make money and be a reliable person. Now that it's let me down I don't know if I'll trust it again. Which sucks. I have several guys work for me and if one lets me down I can judge off his character and emotion if he is just having a bad day or he's a POS. You can't do that with a machine. Machines have no character or emotions to read. One day they work and no problems and then boom!!!!

Hey OP why waste your time posting? Any car can break down at any time my old Benz E350 (since you posting the cost of your truck here was mine $65k) left me and the wife on the freeway once. (fuel pump went out) I didnt feel the need to go online and whine about it....
65k? For a mercedes? Lmao...

This is exactly why I bought a 2012 with a 5.0L and I didn't buy a new vehicle in 2015. I am not a fan of ecoboost reliability engineering. I read a lot about horsepower and torque but nothing positive on reliability. No ones talking about 100K miles without major issues. I view these as EPA forced power trains and Ford is not doing well in the Expedition or the F150s regarding reliability. We may need a legislative solution to this EPA terrorism.

Don't **** around with these dang EcoBoosts. I've heard numerous people say they prefer the 5.0 because it is all around more reliable and mileage is more consistent. Sure the Ecoboost may make more torque and get better mpg, but put a load on it and your mileage will drop to 8. According to my buddy with the 2013 3.5. Just get the 5.0 and you won't need to worry.

Most you people miss the points. If word doesn't get around on these trucks. ford or other car markers will keep building crap. Fords 4.6
Had motor issues.have you notice how many different engines ford has made over the last 15 years. even look at thier diesel program. Mustangs 2011-13 with the 5.0 engine have been taking a dump do to right head design flaw. 5.4 engine blowing out plugs due to bad plug hole design.list goes on. My 2011 mustang is my last ford period! Oh and my 2003 f150 engine took a dump due to bad head design a very common problem replace at 105k

I buy a new truck every two years and a new car for the wife every two years. The only vehicles we have had major problems with Have been Fords three since 2011 have been total pcs of chit two F150s and one Explorer all had major paint issues. I will never make that mistake again.....They have No Quality control or just don't give a
Sounds like you need to buy something else. Guess what? There's just as good a chance you have a problem with that too. Bought a brand new Honda several years ago. The 2nd day I owned it, with less than 200 miles on it, the fuel pump went out. Crap happens. If you have multiple vehicles with problems the buy something else but just keep in mind, and this is from someone who has worked in service departments for several different manufacturers, they ALL have problems at times.

Ford Warranty will take care of you about as much as the American people took care of the Indians...
Ford's warranty department told me "sorry for the problem, we don't know how to fix it. Just keep driving it while were waiting to figure out the resolution." My ecobust left me stranded many times, Ford still wouldn't pay for a rental car. Mine messed up more when i was towing a 6x10 lawn mower trailer so the ford rep told me my truck wasnt made for towing so I shouldn't be using it for that... It is sort of odd to sell a truck with a trailer brake controller if it wasn't made for towing a light load...

I'm sure it is the only brand that has ever done this...................NOT! Things happen, it is just part of life, get over it, get it fixed and go on.
Let us know in 60--80,000 miles if it is a POS
