2015 headlights not bright enough at night!

Has anyone here installed any of the various LED lamp kits in the stock halogen housings and then gone to the OEM Ford LED headllights offered by The Retrofit Source or Raptor Retrofit? I'm curious to know if the OEM LED headlights are any brighter, or as bright, as the LED lamp kits from F150LEDs or any of the other makers/suppliers out there? I like the brightness and the crisp white light that the LEDs produce so going back to halogens was not an option.
Saying that, I had a 2011 XLT SCAB F150 and installed the F150LEDs LED low and high beam lamp kits in my truck and they worked fine with no flickering or one-headlight-going-out issues. I traded the 2011 in on a new 2015 F150 SCREW XLT with OEM halogen headlights and did the same light swapout only to find that the 2015 is way more sensitive in tolerating the voltage differences between the halogens and LEDs.
I've had flickering headlights and one-headlight-going-out problems with the 2015 and have found that TRS (The Retrofit Source) offers a halogen-to-LED conversion harness that will resolve the one headlight going out issue but will still need to purchase and add a capacitor harness that will finally resolve the flickering issue. That's adding a lot of extra wires behind the headlights-especially on the right side of the truck where the windshield washer resevoir is located-and it will be a PIA to be doing these installs outside now in the freezing PA weather.
Seems that the better way to go is getting a set of the OEM FORD LED with the one OEM P&P harness from TRS so the install will go fast and all flickering and one-headlight-going-out issues are corrected all at once. I'm curious if anyone can comment on the brightness of the OEM LED headlights as compared to the LED kits out there?

2016 Headlights did not improve - Are Aftermarket LED better?
I know this is an old post from 2015. I am experiencing the same thing on my 2016 XLT with 203A package. Just heard on the news that MOST trucks tested POOR for headlight performance. F150 was ranked POOR.
Has anyone upgraded to the aftermarket LED headlights, and does it make a $500 difference?

Platinum R.R.
I have a 2015 Platinum with the factory L.E.D. Head lights.
Some people think they are to bright?
If you haven't had an accident at Night your Headlights must be doing the job.

Boy this is an old thread isn't it. By now I believe most folks have gone over to the lighting section and read all the good reviews bout the LED Conversion Kits out there. I just wrote a response in another thread about a news article about how bad the Ford lights got on a review.
Guess this is why the LED Conversion Kits we offer are so popular. I was wondering why so many folks were installing them. I mean I know they are a good product but never realized just how like-minded we all were. We all felt the same about our awesome trucks having such a POOR lighting system.
I don't even think it's really a housing problem (although I don't like the design on the 2015+) because with the LED Conversion Kits it's like night and day.
