2015 fuel mileage

AERODYNAMICS. The two aerodynamic fuel saving products shown in these photos have been developed and tested over the last 5 years, I know because I did it single handedly. They work and they work damn good. My 2009 F150 went from 20 mpg freeway to over 28 mpg at freeway speed using the aerocap and aero bed extender all due to improved aerodynamics.
Ford knows about them, so does GM and Chrysler. No interest. I am sure marketing said they look to GD fugly. They do look different but they work. 2015 CAFE Standards ratchet up to 28.6 mpg freeway, mandated! Every truck manufacturer, all the big three and foreign too, must meet this new CAFE Standard, soon.
The 2015 F150 will easily exceed this 28.6 mpg hwy figure with the aerocap and aero bed extender I have developed installed over the bed and open tailgate, guaranteed! It will also meet and exceed the next milestone of 30 mpg hwy for a pickup truck. My next truck will be a 2015 F150 and I will test the aerocap and aero bed extender on it. This will prove out reaching the 30+ mpg hwy figure for a full sized pickup truck. Hopefully the big 3 will finally take notice and the dynamics of the industry will be such that you too can buy these new patented products for your new 2015 F150 and get 30+mpg hwy too.

What engine, Ecoboost or V8?

Thanks. Utility is what I had in mind. Need to a place to camp or haul taller cargo, raise the roof and drop the Jeep top like sides and hatch. Need to haul really tall cargo, remove the roof.
Have not sold any yet so no pricing available. If enough truck owners like the good folks here on F150 Forum start saying they want one, I could once again try to sell a manufacturer on the idea they should start building them, especially for the new 2015 Ford F150!

for the small amount of time we haul junk out back it would be perfect place to let the pups ride along

Got over 28 mpg, 28.76 mpg hwy to be exact, with a 2011 Ecoboost 4x2 test truck, picture included. This has the aerodynamic truck cap plus an aerodynamic bed extender on it. I feel that 30+ mpg hwy will be easily attainable on the new 2015 F150 with these aero products installed.
I love the bed extender not only for the better gas mileage, but also for the extra covered cargo space. I can lay full 4x8 sheets of plywood flat in a 6.5 foot bed and not worry about the rain or anything blowing out.

Here is my question regarding the 2015 aluminum F150
What else can a truck company do to improve fuel mileage besides losing weight (aluminum) and having a better transmission (GM-ford 10 speed tranny partnership)????
Diesel? Costs too much for fuel and the initial engine in the US. I see diesels for pulling big weight and the only way to justify that cost.
Turbo? May be the way to go but you still have to maintain turbos and the saying goes, "there is no replacement for displacement."
Weight reduction and better tranny. Great. What else can they do

one square foot of steel weighs 490lbs. one square foot of aluminum weights 169lbs. we could see f-150's that are a thousand lbs lighter since the bed, cab and fenders are all made of aluminum.

Problem with any cap is that it takes away from what i use my truck for mostly....hauling bikes and such.
If i have to take any cap off to haul something chances are its just going to stay off.
It may improve the mpg but for a lot of people it isn't really practical.
Interesting tho and I don't even mind the look of the white one....

I agree with you Bosro. Caps limit what you can haul and are a pain to take off. You see many setting in peoples yards.
That is why I designed the aero cap so that the roof is easily removable. It weighs a lot less that the entire aero cap. Bikes should fit right in with the roof removed and then you can reinstall the roof when done and go back to saving on fuel. At $3.50 a gallon here in Arkansas.

lucky you, were at 5.25 a gallon up here. id take 3.50 a gallon and tow a empty trailer behind me cause it is so cheap.
what do you do with the top when your driving place to place?
