2015+ Frozen door latch TSB/ Recall
I woke up this morning to below freezing temps. This is the second time I had this type of problem, my doors and locks weren't opening or unlocking. The only door that worked was the passenger side front (I have the crew cab). I'm just wondering if anyone else is having this problem, I know it's cold but I don't think that it should freeze.

Door Latch Recall 17S33 Revised - Now Includes CSP 18N03
Door latch recall 17S33 has been revised to now include Customer Satisfaction Program (CSP) 18N03 if the vehicle has exhibited symptoms of a frozen door latch. If the vehicle has exhibited symptoms of a frozen door latch CSP 18N03 MUST be performed while performing recall 17S33.
For those vehicles that have already had Recall 17S33 performed and are still having symptoms of frozen door latches, Customer Satisfaction Program 18N03 should be performed at no cost to the customer regardless of mileage or warranty start date. CSP 18N03 is a one-time repair which includes adding additional shielding to the door latches. The program will expire on 10/31/28 (no that's not a typo). Coverage is automatically transferred to subsequent owners.
Includes vehicles built in Dearborn through 4/12/18 and Kansas City through 4/3/18.
Due to the large volume of affected vehicles owners will be notified in six separate mailings. Letters will start being mailed on 10/1/18 and will be completed by 12/31/18. Dealers should repair any affected vehicles that experience a frozen door latch whether or not the customer has received a letter.
PS: CSP 18N03 also applies to 2017 thru 2018 Super Duty vehicles built in Kentucky through 4/21/18 and those built in OHAP through 4/17/18

This should be elevated to a safety recall, but hasn't received that attention yet.
Best bet contact and get dealer to attempt a fix and note complaint at NHTSA.gov .
Now your issue may not have been more than an inconvenience, but sooner or later, this problem is going to cause an injury.
Good luck and hope you enjoy your new truck.

Hi Tom - several others are having same or similar issues. Doors are either locking and can't open or won't lock, and the same with the tailgate!

I took my truck in last week and they told me they couldn't do anything unless they were not working. At the time I took it my rear door locks decided to work. Being the problem is sporadic for me I am not going to play a cat and mouse game with the dealer. I will wait till Ford recognizes the problem and creates a fix.

Happened to me this Morning, about 19 degrees out, manually unlocked the driver's door, I just grabbed the door and and finger on the lock and worked it back and forth 5 or six times, now works fine
