Default 2015 F150 XLT 302a Vs Lariat 502 & 502a

Below is my build list. Can you guys tell what additional does Lariat 502 & 502a get us? And do you think they are worth it?

Thank you

--------------

I keep going back and forth wanting the LED headlight (Lariat 502a) vs what I can actually afford (XLT 302a).

So this is probably my 10th times configuring F-150. lol

2016 F-150
XLT SuperCrew
5.0L
302a
5.5' bed
4x4
3.55 E-locker
Oxford White exterior
Black interior
FX4
Sport Pkg
Twin panel moonroof
Tailgate step
Spray-in bed
36 Gal-extended gas tank
LED spot lights
Trailer tow pkg

(Below not a must have list)
Side window deflector
Hood deflector
Foldable bed extender
Snow Plow prep (I know...but it's only a $50)

I don't know....looks like I just might pull the trigger on a 2016 F150 XLT 302a.
2016 because of the updated Sync-3.
May need to contact the stealership on order & pricing.
I feel like with the X-Plan + the $1k Ford cash certificate, I may be able to get the above for around $39k... Is this realistic?

A couple of the big Lariat improvements that I can think of right off the top of my head are the intelligent access (push button start) and Auto 4WD. Lariat also has leather vs cloth.

Personally, I don't think anyone "needs" a Lariat or higher - XLTs come very well equipped. That being said, the features of the Lariat are very nice compared to XLT. But if it's not in the budget, it's not in the budget.

I got an XLT, I looked at a Lariat it was nice don't get me wrong but the only thing it had that was a must for me was the leather seats. The Lariat was over $4000 more & it didn't have the rebates the XLT had so I got the XLT & put leather seats in it....saved over $7000

As others have said, I'd just get the XLT and buy raptoretrofit aftermarket LED's with the savings over a Lariat.

That said, OEM quality/spec is nice...

Does anyone have info about aftermarket remote start? Does it exist? Are vehicles too complex these days?

I don't mean to be a downer, but aren't 2015 custom orders closed now, as of today?

You can get a remote start for anything lol, just depends if you want it done by the dealership or someone at Bestbuy..etc. Personally I would get it done at the dealership.

Nowhere near $39k.

Xplan is going to be above $46k

Push start, i like it.
Auto 4WD, what does this do?

As far as seats, actually prefer cloth. Hope front and back is heated cloth on XLT 302a.

Hmm

Only front is heated on a 302A. 302A gives you remote start, so that will not have to be added. 4A automatically engages 4wd when it detect excessive slip at the rear wheels.
