Husker, Small world. I have the same Aries covers. Great product. I just leave them on all the time. They have already saved my driver's seat.

Here is a pic before I did the arm rest modification.

Has anyone added the back up sensors to the XL STX trucks? I miss this function from my old truck and would like to install them. P/N and pictures would be great!

That interests me as well, except I'm pretty sure that'll require drilling holes in my painted bumper, and I'm not interested in that....

In the middle of adding a 10 way power driver seat. Got all the old fabric and foam off today and will be swapping on my black sport cloth later this weekend. Gotta run a power and ground wire for the new seat. Tying directly into the oem harness for a seemless look.

Where'd you get that?? Please do update. More seat adjustment (esp. up and down) is the biggest thing I lack in my XL sport package truck.

LKQ got it from North Texas........I paid $190 and another $15 in new wiring I will be set. Taking the seat apart was, well interesting. Lots of wires threaded through stuff and clips etc. I took about 20 pictures to help, even though I have to do it again on my STX seat. I followed this thread for the wiring: https://www.f150forum.com/f118/addin...ats-xl-386644/

Best part is the replacement seat came with the airbag intact. Those sell on ebay all day for $150. Cha-ching!

What's nice about the XL models is that you can personalize them over a period of time without being out a lot of money all at once.

Totally agree! Plus, some people like me don't need all the electronic bells and whistles. Mine is off-road all the time for trail-riding, hunting, and just having fun. Don't think I need a "Lane Departure Warning" system here :

I agree. Some argue that it would be easier to buy a higher trim level. I like to mod my trucks anyway, so this XL was perfect for me.
