Default 2015 F150 shift points 5-star tunes 3.5EB

Question for those that are using tunes from 5star. Did the tune improve the shift points in the 3.5EB? A search on the Forum resulted in posters commenting that the Livernois tune did not improve shifting and I did not see any comments pertaining to 5star. I'm still undecided on which tuner I'm going to go with and this may be the deciding factor.
Thanks
KLS

Good post, I'm also curious, anyone know when super chips or other popular companies will have products for the 15 eco's?

Don't matter what engine, the shift points are part of the transmission strategy, with that being said, 5* custom tunes rock. You can fine tune it to your liking by data logging and sending info back to them with your concerns and they will tweak it until they get it just the way you like.

Same for all custom tuners I guess because I have 5* and MPT and they are both excellent.

I can only comment on 5* and MPT as I have both.

Yes, of course.

It's one of the major reasons the calibrations were created.

Refer to:

http://5startuning.com/got-2015-f150-3-5l-v6-ecoboost/

I won't ever use a 'walled garden' proprietary device, or a device / tuning platform that won't allow for datalogging and custom iterative tune revisions - both CRUCIAL to safely tuning the EB drivetrain.

Hence - I'll stick to SCT. There do not seem to be any downsides to SCT's platform despite rhetoric to the contrary. No offense to Livernois.

FWIW - Check out MPT's Farcebook page - may want to wait a little longer fer their slow, careful approach to tuning the 2015 F150. Looks like it may be WELL worth it.

They likely will but they will also likely be canned ( Superchips, Edge, Diablo, Jet, Bullydog, etc) - hence should be Avoided. Like . The. Plague.

Custom costs little to no more - it's lunacy to run a generic, canned non-loggable tune on a boosted truck.

87 perf/tow
91 perf/tow
91 performance

I ran the 91 performance for a week but I think I was going to lose my license. I switched over to the 91 perf/tow and haven't changed it.

Oh that's funny. Thanks for the info, looks like I'll be calling 5star.
