2015+ F150 Morimoto XB LED mirror side markers?

I just purchased the new morimoto XB LED switchback mirror side markers for my 2018 F150. TRS did not have any install procedures as far as taking off the old mirror side marker housings. The wiring itself is plug and play no forscan or anythibg. Just need help removing the old housing so i can install the new housing with the LED light switchback board built into the new housing. Can anyone show me a diagram from ford, video, instructions, etc. On how to remove the side marker housing from the mirrors??? I have an XLT 2018 halogen truck (non trailer/BLIS mirrors). Please assist if you can; any I put would be nice fellas. Thanks in advance for your comments! Below is the link to the switch back mirror side markers I just purchased a few days ago for reference what I’m talking about exactly.

Sounds like it's only a problem for the rules police.

Actually pretty easy. Look up on youtube “how to remove mirror caps”. You pop the mirror lenses out and theres 4 screws behind it I believe.

So these are plug and play and when you turn your lights on you will have side markers and turn signals in your mirrors?

Yes, that’s what they advertise. I havent gotten around to installing them yet. Plan on installing them this weekend with my oem LED headlights as well with my harness from Ryan B. I’ll post pix before and after and try to post a GIF with the side marker in action too.

I believe they are switch backs, with the spot lights being brighter if your vehicle is equipped.

I was actually in the middle of getting my truck ready to install these lights by wiring in the running light mod. Just to clarify one thing though. TRS's site advertises these as sequential, not as a plug and play solution for anyone who wants to have the turn signals function as running lights. At this point, I had finished the wiring for the OEM lights to function as turn signals and running lights; however, after receiving and installing the Morimoto lights I have discovered that the wiring I just completed does not function properly with them. If I leave the new wiring connected, they function as a solid turn signal. If I disconnect the wiring to have them function as running lights, they do function as sequential turn signals; however, they do not function consistently and will flash a random number of times, break for a second and then continue flashing another random number of times. Now I'm stuck in the debate of leaving the OEM ones in, which will function correctly as both turn signals and running lights or leave the Morimotos in and leave the new wiring connected, so they at least flash consistently. Definitely open to any thoughts on this dilemma.

I talked to trs about these and they are not switchbacks. Just led turn signals according to them

That’s a dilemma for sure. Having both sounds cool.

Can you post some pics? Wondering how they look lit up.
