Add me to the list. One week old, 400 miles and I want to LOVE this truck. Unfortunately, I'm experiencing steering wheel/gas pedal vibration that I've never experienced on any vehicle before. The worst of it occurs between 45-60MPH. It's seems to be getting worse and I brought it in to the dealer tonight and received exactly what I expected. The vibration was acknowledge as was a right pull on the steering. However, the dealer said it was fine and I should just get used to it. On top of that, he suggested I might want to buy a brand new set of tires to see if that helps the issues. Seriously? This $50K truck was purchased last week! I've purchased Ford all my life, but this unreal. I have a brand new truck that I hate to drive.

I suggest that everyone having this issue call ford and start the claim process if not already done. The more people calling about the issue the faster it's going to get resolved.

I am also having issues with my door locks now which I think I read about on another thread here. I guess a tsb exists for that now so I can get that problem fixed.

But still without a forensic examination one never knows. However, as my dealer says, once they get an order to do something, anything, then if it doesn't work, Ford HAS to fix it.

Except I am at 9700 km's now and no fix is in yet. Farking exasperating.

Any update on the Ring and Pinion Backlash?

Funny you should ask.

The pinon parts never arrived. It was a bogus deal on an issue that dates back to earlier models. The dealership which tried this route did so on zero forensics.

So, today, I drove sixty kilometres to a Ford dealership with whom I had done business in 2008.. reputable, and referred recently by a Ford mechanic who had earlier contacted Dearborn on my behalf over this issue. The Ford engineers' response from HQ at that time had been "we won't let you book any time unless you've got a $7000 Vibratron machine" which can locate noise and identify its suspect source by analyzing frequencies.

A tech from the new dealership (Oakville Ford in Ontario Canada) went out with me ton a test drive late this afternoon and conceded that the NVH was harsh in the drive line. Unavoidable. Then he said their DL specialist would look at it, using their Vibratron. My heart jumped.

So, it goes in Thursday this week. I will advise further. Notwithstanding anything, I will have the drive shaft R+R'd as per ealier posts by others, including angle, longitudinal true, and mid-pint hanging rubber torque converter dowel, which is squealing like a ho' when the torque is applied via accelerating from an NVH harsh, low load, cruise.

My opinion has always been I've got a solenoid problem in the TC that kicks the converter out. But that remains to be seen. You can download third party maintenance and repair manuals for these transmissions like I did and get up close an personal with the issues found, issues that the dealerships do not advertise.

As a follow up, my dealer put my tires on the "road force balance" machine and all 4 failed. The dealer then installed a new set of the same Hankook tires under warranty. That took care of the of vibration issues I had.

Very interested to know if Ford will participate in diagnosing the drive shaft concerns. The information I've found suggests they'll try to avoid this as much as possible.

I brought mine in to another dealership today and they again acknowledge the vibration and checked the Ford Oasis for vibration fixes. I ended up getting the tires balanced, which they claimed brought the vehicle back to 'normal' range. They also suggested I need to put the full 1,000 miles on the truck to truly break everything in. I picked it up and noticed the vibration issues had maybe slightly improved, if at all. I have no confidence Ford will ever fix this issue.

They will only start to process this with the Vibratron having located the problem. Find a dealer with one.

I signed up on the forum with the hope of getting some answers. I did not have to search very long to find i am not along with this same problem. From day one My 2015 ford f 150 4x4 crew cab slight vibration and a low rumbling noise inside the cab between 45 to 60 mph is driving me crazy. At 50 to 55mph when the truck shifts into 6th gear the vibration and noise is the worst. Let off the gas pedal ever so slightly and the problem goes away. apply just a bit of gas and issue returns. Has ford corrected your truck or had any answers? Did Brittany help to get the problem solved?
