By the way, check out my posting history. With 596 'thank you's' from others here not one of them other than yourself told me I was a liar. Four posts in and you are doing really well.

Sorry for the confusion. Let me clear the air, I do not want any ill-will, only here to try and help.

"but dealer says Ford hasn't released them yet" - this. I am saying the dealer is not being truthful, not you sir.

I had mine fixed with the shims from Ford a while ago. Mine is also a 2015 FX4 5.0L SCREW.

I am not new to forums. I have 1000's of posts over on Evolutionm, and another 300 or so on the F150ecoboost forum. I am familiar with how they work.

Sorry if is you misunderstood me.

My apologies then doctorschlachter. Thanks for clearing it up. I acted in haste.... always a huge mistake.

I am hoping they fix this soon. I have had this issue from day one and my dealer acts like I am crazy. Truck is a 2015 lariat fx4 3.5 eb screw. Worst vibration between 75-80. But I have noticed it anywhere over 60.

If you can, check your driveline angles. I posted earlier, that my 2015 FX4 was out 2 degree's right from the factory, and had the vibration.

I measured mine personally before going to the dealer. They added a 2 degree "shim kit" which rotated my rear axle down 2 degree's, giving the drive shaft proper working angles.

Another thing to try. Get it vibrating, then put it in neutral. Does the vibration stop? Mine did, and it was the pinion angle.

If the vibration does not change, it could be a few other things.

Just somewhere for you to start working from.

Thanks. I will try that and check the driveline angle. Originally thought balance issue since all 4 tires where way out from factory.

You can add me to the list of 2015 FX4 owners that have a vibration. I noticed the vibration a day after I bought it. I thought it was a tire issue like others have mentioned. I put a leveling kit, 3" rear block (removed factory block) and put on BF Goodrich ATs. I thought the vibration would go away with new tires, but it didn't. I start to notice it above 60 mph and mainly up to about 80. I took it back to my dealership, who has been a total clown show btw, to check it out. They screwed up other things while it was there, that I didn't find out about until later. However, they said I need to adjust my pinion angle 2-3 degrees for the next vibration (and couldn't tell me up or down). I measured the output angle at 4.1*, and my pinion angle at 3.5*. So if I shim it up it will be 5.5-6.5*, and down would be 1.5-0.5*. None of those angles sound right. Does anyone know what the correct pinion angle should be?

Also, is there any update on using the Raptor transfer case mount mentioned earlier in the thread as a vibration fix? Thanks for your help.

I had an '86 F150, '90 Bronco, and just traded a '99 F150 4x4, so I know what a truck feels like, and I know a unusual vibration that shouldn't be there when I feel it.

Yeah I know the feeling on the way the dealers act. It's like they think we have never driven a truck before. This makes the 4th brand new ford I have broke in since 2005, between personal and work vehicles. They won't even acknowledge the issue. We need contact info for a regional customer service rep. So that maybe someone can communicate to the dealers to actually try and fix the issue. All these 2015 owners talking about issues can't look good to them.

Default Frustrating Vibration

Seems Ford has had this issue for years, they deny a problem exists and owners can't pinpoint the cause!

Until someone can isolate the problem and determine a cause and have it documented, with more owners doing the same and only then get a class of owners together and request a resolution, not much positive is going to occur.

Sell it, trade it and hope you don't get another problem truck a possible solution, Ford likes this option.

Best of luck to all!

Adjust rear pinion angle DOWN to match the output of the transmission angle. The raptor trans mount only helps mask the actual problem. The 15's have an extra mount/dampener at the transfer case anyways. Mount won't do the trick.
