Here is a pic of mine, they are hard to see if in place... My door handle seals started to fall out after the first winter (maybe all the salt or extreme temperature fluctuations).
Unfortunately I was informed that Ford is telling dealerships to simply scrape away the gasket material instead of replacing it (while the door panels etc. were already removed for the TSB). They didn't want to warranty the extra 5-10 minutes to replace.

Once temps get above 5C or so here, I'm going to pull all the door panels off and foil tape the back of the latch cartridges to give them back their "seal"....

I'm sitting at the dealership this morning for my driver's side scab door rattling. I mentioned the frozen door locks/latch issue. They said 'it's actually not that common'. Hmm. Maybe, but it happened to me right off the bat.
Now the weather is getting a little warmer. May have to wait and see.

Happy to report that so far I haven't had any issues with my locks for the past 5 days. The temperature here has been above freezing during the day with some rain and freezing temps during the overnight with wet snow, and even heavy frost this morning and no issues. Only time will tell though. I also took a look at my door handles and it doesn't appear as though there is any sort of seal there.

Well after my truck being in shop 7 times, my latches, cables seem to be fixed. We havent had any really cold weather to know for sure though. I do still have a pass side rear supercab door latch that freezes or gets stuck open. I guess at least my doors latch and I can lock my truck.

Got a call from my dealership that the TSB parts had finally arrived (after 3 months wait). Went in today for the installation, and 7 hours later got the truck back. I can only hope for success, and winter is (hopefully) a long way away. Fingers are crossed!

Mine is definitely fixed.
Was hovering around +1 to -1 all yesterday. Rained hard, turned to slush for an hour or two and then snow overnight.
Woke up this morning to -10 and blizzard conditions.
All the doors were even frozen to the seals.
Pulled each handle, all unlatched perfectly. Broke the ice bond and all of them opened fine. All closed and latched perfectly.
So the seems the TSB works, at least it does on my truck. Or maybe my serv dept just has it figured out.
Whatever the case, the fix is out there and I'm happy with the results.
We'll see if it survives the summer and into next winter.....

I wonder how long the TSB fix will last. Only time will tell.
