Thumbs down 2015 f150 Front brake rotors

Hi ordered a brand new 2015 f150 Lariat for $53,000 and have had nothing but problems with the front rotors.Took it to dealer I bought it from twice and they felt the vibration and grinding noise at about 10,000 miles.Pulled rotors off and they were in spec.Dealer would not replace rotors. The second dealer I took it to said it was front brake rotors or master cylinder. He replied they all do it.Well I am not happy drivering my Ford on mornings 65 degrees or cooler and rotors rub terrible and vibration up through steering wheel for 4 of 5 miles until rotors warm up then it goes away.I ever put a claim through Ford and all she was worried about was closing the claim by a certain date. Now that mornings are cooler now in upstate NY it is driving me crazy!!! Help please!!

Get aftermarket rotors and pads, runs about 200 fkr fronts to 250. Lots of op like Powerstop.

Point is, he shouldn't have to do that on a $53,000 truck. The brakes should WORK.

I have 16k miles on my 15 and just had all 4 roters turned last week. Felt vibration when breaking. I have mostly highway so was a bit surprised to have this problem so early.

The ones on the lot were probably new and shouldn't do it. I will not say most or all, but many do have problems much earlier than they should. The rotors are poor quality, but more importantly, not adequate for a truck of this size. Mine started doing it about 20k. Depending upon the type of driving you do and if you do any hard braking. Sooner or later most will do show the issues.

It's not normal in most/some conditions. The conditions we each put our trucks through is a little bit unique in some aspect or another. I've had 21k trouble-free miles out of mine, but I avoid the binders; the go pedal is much more fun.

That doesn't change the fact that there are better brakes than OEM. At 10k miles I'd be bummed they needed changed already, but I'd be excited and eager to replace them with something better. I'm not one to mod my vehicles. I mostly like to buy what I need and not much more. I need to stop, so that is something I have no problem buying the best thing to meet my needs; and that is not OEM.

Personally, I'd look at Centric branded brakes for the best bang for your buck. Features and quality typically expected only from the highest priced items, but sold nearer to OEM type prices.

What does the cost have to do with it? Should a $20k vehicle not expect to have brakes?

Haha, my front right (I think) brakes started making noise at 2500 miles or so, and starting at 4500, they started vibrating. I'm waiting until the next service, and I'll have them replaced.

Does anyone know how many times you can have the dealer turn/replace rotors and pads under the Premium Care maintenance package?
