Some great data here at some 3000 RPM is torture ok well it's red line is 6300. But like I said if you feel better about it that's all that counts. I'm sure all the documentation is wrong from both GM and Ford..while TFL is making feel better I will wait to see how Ford is going to respond and hopefully with more power..

Bow Tie squats with the same tongue weight and the trans doesn't keep the 6.2L at its best Torque point when heavy towing.

Like I said as long as you feel better GM was in 3rd gear barely working while the Ford was in second love the Ford lane guys like it was stated earlier the Ecoboost is a good competitor for the GM 5.3l but not for the 6.2 l hope Ford steps up there game.

I like the looks of Ford and I am a Ford fan but I am convinced TFL is Ford bias. They have no idea how to do proper comparisons they do it in traffic, no manual shifting to red line, they don't tell you what gear there in its a complete joke.

Why would you want to red line it if you can get the job done at a fraction of the RPMs?

They say many times that GM doesn't tell you the gear.
These same dingbats disproves your own point by doing 0-60's in high altitude and the GM beat it. Any automotive engineer would laugh at these clowns.
It's a different test. They take advantages of different RPM ranges. It doesn't 'disprove' anything.
A real test would be in manual to red line of each gear.
What % of the population actually does this up every damn hill?? Don't try to use this forum as a sample pool because it will not be accurate. In anycase, when the 6.2L GM managed o downshift to 2nd or 3rd or whatever gear, it would just scream and not 'bite'.

So your point is that GM has a retarded transmission? Again, how did we know what gear the GM was in. Really, does the average person give a damn? The results are the only thing that matters and the test was fair. You can speculate "what if" scenarios all you want, but this test was done and the results are there. The 6.2L is faster to 60 unloaded and faster with a boat. The 3.5L is faster up a mountain with 10k lbs. Now deal with it.
