You EB fanboys crack me up. Enamored by you little turbos ...ooh it spins the tires!! LoL!! Spewing your lame CAFE standard line of BS. Average fuel economy in cafe standards is across the line so Ford should continue making their lame smaller cars, more lame...eeer fuel efficient. Hell make TWO electric cars if they need to. Trucks need V8s period. If Ford was serious about truck owners wants, with today's tech, they could make a plenty economical line of V8s. You know it as well as I do. They don't need archaic fossils like the 6.2. They CAN do more with less, but do it with 8 cylinders!!! The so called mpg advantage of EB engines is a bunch of horse sh!!t. EB owners know it, we all know it. Real world numbers are not exactly what is claimed. My 5.0 gets 17 in town consistently. That's not much worse than a EB, plus it will match or beat a EB's mpg under load,,,and it's a mans engine, a V8. When you try to pull or haul anything with a piddly little EB your mpg goes directly into the sh!!ter. You know it so give it up. If anything Ford should invest in V8s and if they need an average mpg booster, put a freakin diesel in their half tons. Everyone knows diesels kick any gassers azz in mpg under load and can beat a turboed gasser in real world mpg. See RAM!!! They are gonna sell the crap out of those ecodiesels and take chunk out of potential EB buyers. Just watch. Ford has it right in reducing weight. They are going the wrong way by pursuing those ridiculous V6 engines. Imagine what they could accomplish with a lighter truck and a more efficient and powerful V8. I snicker at every sucker with an EB badge on their "truck". You defenders of EB can keep spewing your justifications. Lol! So yeah Ford IS shoving their turboed V6 crap down our throats. V6 belong in 20-somethings poor boy trucks and cheap azz fleet trucks. Give me a V8 and stop Fn around.

Verbal diarrhea at its best. If you don't like the ecoboost DON'T BUY IT. I have had EVERY motor in the F150 line up at one point or another from my 83 with an inline 6 to my 2012 ecoboost and have loved them all. I buy what I like and you **** off and buy what you like. I can believe Ford hasn't sought you out and hired you to design the 2015 because you obviously know more than their uneducated engineers. I have no idea how Ford has been able to hold their best selling records without you. As I said, verbal diarrhea......

And if you think the ecodiesel Ram is gonna kill Ford sales think again. First of all YOU CANT GET THEM. The dealers are gonna rape people because there will be some demand for them and the supply is severely short.

Lol Fanboy huh? Im assuming that was directed at me. Just FYI My F150 Has a 5.4 so im far from a fanboy. Great engine, so is the 5.0. Drive all three on a regular basis, and if i was in the market for a new truck it would be an eco hands down.... and nobody would have to shove it down my throat...

Love the engine options. As a first time truck owner this past May, I fell in love with the ecoboost option they offered. Quite honestly, I would not have jumped into a truck if they had not offered this. I don't tow, I seldom haul anything but the occational trip to Home Depot or a furniture store, but I have a family of four and am getting bored of minivans. Believe it or not I'm probably the exact buyer they are shooting for. I wanted power to have fun with, and possibly a future tune if I got bored which would be easy and quickly reversible if desired. Pick the engine you want for the job you want it to do. Perfect in my opinion.
