I'm with you 110%.
They really need to concentrate on making V8s more efficient and powerful. They need a diesel option. They need to stop shoving Turboed little V6s down the buyers throats and get off the heavy V6 kick.
EVEN GOOBERMENT MOTORS has a big V8 option. That is a crying shame right there and tells a sad story of what is going on with Ford.
RAM is the only brand who has the engine priorities and offerings right on the money at this time.

Also, another reason Ford knows what they're doing. It seems GM is going to be 4 years late to the party again...LOL (GM is going aluminum also, this is after they spent billions on the current sorry excuse for a truck and their revolutionary "light steel") GM is rapidly heading toward the GM of old and will go BK again.

Fiat-Ram and GM will always trail Ford. Now that GM has formally announced the extensive use of aluminum, it won't be long before FIAT announces the use of aluminum in the 1500.
Also, Ford has offered a small displacement V6 with 420 lb/ft of torque for a couple of years now. FIAT-Ram is just coming to the party now, with a Diesel engine sourced in Italy and a price premium of over$3000.
If the $3000 extra charge wasn't enough, it runs on diesel fuel which is more expensive than regular gas and any fuel economy savings are cancelled out by the higher cost of diesel.
There's no doubt that Ford is miles ahead of FIAT-Ram and GM.

How do you explain Ford still gaining market share in the truck segment right now? Seems GM has lost the way and losing market share at an astonishing rate. It's so bad they are going to be offering employee pricing plus incentives soon. Ram has gained, but it looks as if the GM buyers won't touch Ford and jumped to Ram (just as Ford fans probably wouldn't jump to GM and would go with Ram instead). Ford just keeps setting records. It appears they are on the right path

I changed from being a life-long GM fan to owning Fords when gm decided to donate my tax dollars to the Fing democratic party! I love my Fords, AND, I will never purchase a government motors product again. I think a lot of people feel this way, and I hope they, like me began to buy Fords. I have a ton of respect for FoMoCo.

Yes, those numbers are amazing. The Powerstroke is king of the hill. I read that they placed the turbocharger in a new location making it easier to upgrade to a larger unit.
Nobody can beat Ford on truck engines,
