2015 F150 Easter Eggs
I thought I would make a thread on easter eggs I've found with my new f150. I'm sure lots of these little thinks people don't care about, and they're probably all in the manual as well.
Share any that you've found.
1. Hiding spot for a spare key fob under the rubber bottom piece. Prevents the truck from honking at you when you get out with the key while its running. Also not a bad idea to have a back up just in case you do drive away without the key fob or the battery in your main fob dies.
2. F150 logo on vent
3. With ambient lighting turned on if a door is open it will light up red. This is great considering these trucks have light doors that you have to slam. You can tell instantly while watching someone get out if their door is shut properly or not.
4. Sport mode. I know this isn't really an easter egg, but I didn't know about this until after buying the truck and I find it pretty
5. AdvanceTrac sport mode
I'll add more as I find them, I'd like to see some cool features others have found that they didn't know when they bought their truck.

I think your Easter egg #1 about the fob may become the best mod of all time on this forum given the number of horn complaint threads. Then again we may see new threads regarding high rates of truck theft when someone knows where the spare key is.

You think that the F150 logo on a vent is an Easter egg? Really? You do know that for it to be considered an Easter egg is has to be hidden?

If I'm not mistaken if you leave the key there anyone who grabs the drivers door handle the door will open then all they have to is hit the start button with the brake pressed and the truck is theirs. Where do you live (just kidding about the where do you live). That key spot is where you put the key fob to start your truck if your key fob battery is dead, and not a hide a key spot.

That is not a hiding spot. That is where you place the fob to program it. A hiding spot is not something that is well documented and well known.

And yes the f150 logo is hidden when the doors are closed, you only notice it when getting in. Again to me this is an easter egg.
