The last Dealer visit I was told nothing is wrong with the truck even though there are people getting cases and or gears replaced and even going to buy a Toyota and dumping the F150 over this BS... Funny. What's up Ford???

Hey guys,

Let’s see how I can help get that noise quieted. Please send me a PM with your full names, best contact numbers, VINs, updated mileages, and servicing dealers.

Noticed it since day 1
Doesn't seem to be getting any worse but then again i only have 2900 km
Not sure how much i should be worrying ?
No faith in the local dealer "didnt here anything" so thats out......
Hi Coyote Five O,

Please reach out to my colleagues at FordserviceCA, if you do decide to go to the dealer.

Glad to see you’ve been in contact with the CSM, Aspirinab9.

I took mine in because it had a drone and bad vibration at certain speeds. I took the tech for a 10 mile test drive and he heard the drone. Well, 2 days later I had a bad TC and I'm waiting on parts.

I can PM you my info but not sure if it will do any good. I have been to the dealer a couple of times and was told there is no issue. Unless Ford has had a change of heart?

I have been in contact with the Florida CSM (Sandra Simon) and have had several talks with the Service Mgr at my local Dealer I bought at.

You more that welcome to give it another try...

Not sure but if you read through this thread there are reports of when dealers have removed and inspected the Transfer Case they clearly saw damage inside.

Those are NEVER just characteristics of a truck.

I was speaking to the rotational noise I had with original TC and the whole new transfer case that is in it now. The "ring gear fix" per SSM 45452 made my truck grind and bind.

Rachel,

Thanks for taking my information. I spoke with the CSM in my area. I'm going to make an appointment to drop it off so the service department can get on the phone with technical support. I hope a resolution can be found.

Good Luck and let us know what they tell you... I would not have high hopes.

.
Well I sent my info to Ford Service an have not heard back. I think this is a lost cause and lip service. Maybe if we just keep filing here and maybe get lawyers involved Ford might start caring about this issue.
