I am still rolling with the noise. When the truck has been sitting in the garage and I take it out in the morning the noise seems to be alot louder. Maybe because the transfer case oil is all settled to the pan???
The last Dealer visit I was told nothing is wrong with the truck even though there are people getting cases and or gears replaced and even going to buy a Toyota and dumping the F150 over this BS... Funny. What's up Ford???

My noise is back. About 1200 miles on the new transfer case and it is no longer silent. Rotational noise is back. This is beyond frustrating. I guess I got another bad Tcase. Fix # 4 inside of 6000 miles has not worked. Trying to get a hold of a dealer rep. Not going back to dealership.
Let’s see how I can help get that noise quieted. Please send me a PM with your full names, best contact numbers, VINs, updated mileages, and servicing dealers.
Please reach out to my colleagues at FordserviceCA, if you do decide to go to the dealer.
The second dealer is the one I bought it from so I'm hoping for them to be a little more helpful. Been talking to a Ford rep as well so I'm hoping the extra pressure may do something. This is my first new vehicle so I'm quickly learning how much of a pain this can be.

I took mine in because it had a drone and bad vibration at certain speeds. I took the tech for a 10 mile test drive and he heard the drone. Well, 2 days later I had a bad TC and I'm waiting on parts.

I have been in contact with the Florida CSM (Sandra Simon) and have had several talks with the Service Mgr at my local Dealer I bought at.
You more that welcome to give it another try...

My truck is a Dearborn truck. Build date: 5/15. Updated ring gear per Ford special service message made my truck worse. Axle bind, grinding when backing up and accelerating. They put whole new case in and still noise came back. If I knew it was just a characteristic of truck I would be ok. It is the not knowing that bugs me.

Rachel,
Thanks for taking my information. I spoke with the CSM in my area. I'm going to make an appointment to drop it off so the service department can get on the phone with technical support. I hope a resolution can be found.

Well I sent my info to Ford Service an have not heard back. I think this is a lost cause and lip service. Maybe if we just keep filing here and maybe get lawyers involved Ford might start caring about this issue.
