No they don't run 70 to 75 thousand! You can buy lots of KR F250 or F350 for 65 thousand. I have been pricing them. Now with the rebates you can get one for 55 to 57 thousand.

I like the interior, sunroof front and rear is nice too! but outside is gonna have to grow on me…resembles a dodge to me too. I wish they kept the headlights like they did on the concept completely split instead of a weird shape. O well

I'm pretty sure the boys in the Ford engineering dept have plans up punching both up for the '15 MY, but the 3.5 is THE BEST towing engine available in any 1/2 ton, and before you say I'm just a Boost lover - I own a 2010 with a 5.4 and a 2013 with a 5.0 & have only driven an EcoBoost once. The reason I went with the 5.0 is that I couldn't justify spending an extra $1800 on it when I hardly ever tow anything. Plus the Coyote's growl sounds so much better than the turbo whine that the 3.5 puts out.
Maybe I am misinformed but on the mpg forum the eco seems to be getting MAYBE a mile a gallon better empty and basically the same or less towing than the 5.0.The 5.4 was crap towing and mpg empty or towing. Sorry buddy, i don't want to bash the fords, I owned ford from 1970 to 2012, thats 32 yrs so I think I'm qualified to voice an opinion. Won't say what I own now but its 2012 half ton, gas and tows FAR better than my 5.4 did and 3-4 mpg better mileage. Friends just bought new EB. They say nothing about mpg when I tell them my mileage both empty and towing quite a heavy boat so I know its no better than mine. She also steped on the EB pretty good and I just smiled,.Also comparable trim package and sorry but the F-150 Is a nice truck but interior is cheaper, less roomy, especially width inside and seats a lot harder. Daughters boy friend was the sales manager till yesterday at local Ford dealer, thinking truck but 5 miles in the Fords he drove home and his back was sore. Sorry if i seem bashing Ford, i'm not, just stating fact. Like i say, i was all ford for over 30 yrs till i drove what i have now.

The person whose insurance company lies to and tells them it has to go to their "preferred body shop" in order to have a complete warranty on parts and labor...

The insurance company gets lower rates with their "preferred shops" by sending that shop a large volume of customers.

Fact is, it's illegal for them to deny the owners choice of where to get their vehicle fixed.

This is probably the most comfortable vehicle I have ever driven. It's also the most quietest and fun to drive vehicle I've had. I love to see the grin on my 15 year old son's face when we smoke the rear wheels from a traffic light. I feel good about driving something made in America and made with parts manufactured by some companies here in Canada as well.

I don't tow anything, I don't carry anything in the 6.5 foot bed. The only thing this truck has ever carried was my briefcase. Why do I drive a truck? Because I feel like it.

The funny thing is, those friends of mine who call me a redneck are the same ones who quickly say - "oh, it's great you have a truck so I can call you if I need to move something"........lol
Yes..this...ditto

Don't know that I would completely agree with that statement but I do think the older ones were better looking. Why has it become necessary for every truck made today to be a behemoth of a vehicle. The mid 2000 super duty was the best looking trucks on the road until they had to make them so damn huge. I always hated that "billboard" grille of a Dodge but dern if Ford didn't follow right behind them and now it looks like they have decided to carry that over to the 150 as well. I would be curious to know just how much more square feet of body surface area the 2015 has as opposed to a 95.
Not trying to be a hater but personally I don't think there is a really sharp looking truck in production today!

Why don't you just say what you have? There are other people on this forum that also compare other brands. It would be helpful to hear what it is that you have.

Not sure why you wont say what you're driving now, but I figure you are either ashamed because you turned Japanese or embarrassed because you took a big step down and bought a GM (if so, did they give you a huge hug & thank you for your tax dollars that the gov't gave them so they wouldn't go **** up?) - whatever turns your crank. I never said anything about EcoBoost getting great mileage - we all know that it is no better than the 5.0 in "real world" fuel economy. The fact of the matter is that the EcoBoost will tow 11300lbs with no problem. As far as I know no other 1/2 ton is rated to do that.

By the way, 2012-1970=42 years, not 32. Maybe that new truck smell is affecting your ability to do math.
