We had a small amount of the adapter plugs arrive this week for those that placed orders months ago. The bulk of the adapters will be here mid July and we will release the lights again for sale. Anyone who has previously contacted us - we will email you as soon as they are available. if you are interested in a set there is a wait list, contact - dawson@raptorretrofit.com or http://www.raptorretrofit.com/contact-us/

Please respect the OP and keep this thread relevant to the actual install of the 2015 headlights as he is graciously taking the time to document it for the many guys who would like to do this install themselves.

Boatmanbuzz thanks for the awesome writeup! I bookmarked this for when I get my lights! How did you align the lights? Did you have the dealer do that?

Very nice writeup! I didn't think everything, even the amber LED strip, would work like factory. I thought you'd have to do some wiring to make it work. I almost went this route by buying a 501a because I don't need a heated steering wheel/power steering column/heated rear seats that are included in the 502a upgrade. But after pricing out the headlights, for the $1,000 extra it would've ended up costing me to go 502a I just decided to go that route. Great idea for somebody who wants the 2.7 or who has an XLT though.

I am not posting any night time pictures etc as it has been done many times before on this forum if you do a search.

Now I believe my truck looks like a 2015 after seeing all of the press pictures with the LED headlights before the trucks release.

Whether it is worth it is up to each individual.

Hats off to Dawson of Raptor Retrofit for a nice product offering. You will have to direct all price and headlight questions to him. Any install questions and I will try to answer.

Nice write up

Mine are aligned great out of the box. The owners manual tells you how to align. There is a allen head screw at the top that turns gears on the back of the lights if adjustment needed. That screw turns both the high and low beams.

Great job with the pics and write up. Very much appreciated . I am on the fence about this mod mostly due to the price Would rather get new tires and a tonneau first.
