2015 F-150 gap issues/dealer issues
I took my 2015 F150 in to the dealer for fit and finish issues on the hood and tailgate. When I picked up my truck I noticed a paint chip on my fender and asked the service manager to come check it out. Turns out they cracked my fender. The manager blamed the cold weather and aluminum body, but agreed they owed me a new fender. I gave them 3 weeks to get the fender in. I dropped my truck off for the new fender and three weeks later I go to pick it up only to find the paint doesn't match, my fender trim is lose and the emblem is not completely attached. I pointed out to the manager and he says they painted the fender 6 times and this was the best they could do on the paint. When I told him it was not acceptable he said drive it for a few days and call them back if I wasn't happy. I called ford and they said because it's a workmanship issue I am probably stuck with the dealer that did the work and if they are willing to work with me I should try and resolve with them. I don't have much confidence in the third attempt in the shop and am really not looking forward to driving another rental car. I had been paying $10 extra a day to drive a Ford Escape vs a Ford Fusion that I could barely get in and out of. That's a whole issue in it's self. My question is how to handle this going forward to ensure the best result?

You might go to several other shops and have them go over it. Don't tell them the work was done and ask them what they suggest. Getting it in writing and then, if the majority say the truck needs repainting, you can go back to your dealer with the paperwork and ask them to fix it to where it should be. If you get nowhere, you have ammunition for a small claims suit to get the work done right.
Just be professional, calm, and levelheaded about the whole thing.

The tailgate gap looks like it would be an easy fix by adjusting the striker bolt.

Paint
I have chips in my hood in the first 1000 miles of ownership. I have not complained about that with the local Ford dealership it's par for the course driving down the highway at 70 miles an hour.
the issues I have are with the hood flexing at highway speed and the fact that Ford sprays bed liner inside of the fuel rear tailgate on the 2018 s this does not allow for the Dent Doctor to come pound out door dings. To me this is a huge issue.
pop off the back panel of your tailgate and peek in there to see the bed liner sprayed inside
