Mods: feel free to sticky and add any items that people ask for to this list.

I made this to help people evaluate their truck. It should take about 20 min and about 15 to test drive.

Please comment and feel free to suggest addictions that I may have missed. Hopefully this pulls together most of the common issues I've read about.

2015 F-150 Delivery Checklist Below are the known issues with the 2015 F150 as report on this forum. This may not be exhaustive, but feel free to let me know if you'd like to add anything I may have missed.

Moving Clockwise from front of vehicle:

Front:

o Bumper alignment on corners

o Left & Right Hood Alignment gaps o check paint for imperfections

o Check wheel well to ensure all clips are present

Drivers Side Front Door:

o Lower windshield trim lifting

o Driver door open/close smoothly and ensure aligned

o Check door jam for overspray/missed paint

o Check paint for imperfections

Drivers Rear Door:

o Open/close smoothly and ensure aligned

o Check door jam for overspray/missed paint

o Open rear door and check arm rest sits flush

o Check seat material to ensure no tears/rips

o Check paint for imperfections

Driver Rear Quarter:

o Check paint for imperfections

o Check wheel wells to ensure all clips are present

o Stand in tire and look at roof seal on side

Rear of Truck:

o Open/close tailgate to ensure smooth operation and closing.

o Verify installed tailgate step of optioned

o Operate tailgate step.

o Step back and ensure bed is aligned and straight

o Check for paint imperfections

o Look under rear of truck for rust on axles/underbody

o Operate led bed lights

Passenger Rear Quarter:

o Check paint for imperfections

o Check wheel wells to ensure all clips are present

o Stand on wheel and look at roof seal on side

Passenger Rear Door:

o Open/close smoothly and ensure aligned

o Check door jam for overspray/missed paint

o Check seat material to ensure no tears/rips

o Check paint for imperfections

Passenger Front Door:

o Lower windshield trim lifting

o Driver door open/close smoothly and ensure aligned

o Check door jam for overspray/missed paint

o Check paint for imperfections

Get Inside drivers seat:

o Turn truck on and listen for abnormal noises

o Operate all switches: Windows, locks, side mirrors in/out/food/heat/movement, memory seats, spotlights/traction control, wipers, headlights, fog lights, heated/Cooled seats.

o Park assist button missing

o Test Radio on/off/volume/steering wheel controls/etc....

o Check interior panel fitment gaps

o Check dash top for any warping

o Operate seat

o Test power outlets

Sit in passenger side:

o Operate window switch, door lock, glove box

o Check interior panel fitment gaps

Sit in Rear of truck:

o Check panel fitment

o Check roof light

o Check air vents

o Check power outlets

o Operate both rear window switches

o Lift/lower rear seats

o Check for carpet alignment and tucking

Test Drive:

o Test air conditioning

o Test heater

o Radio off and listen for wind noises through windshield

o Listen for weird engine noises

o Windows open-listen for weird noises

o Do a U-Turn and ensure smooth steering

o Operate blinkers

o Ensure stop/start works on 2.7L., then test disable button

o Check for harsh 5-4 downshift

o Check for any vibrations around 40-50mph

o Check for driveline vibration when initially accelerating.

Is there a way to hyperlink each of these to a photo of exactly what we should be looking for? A lot of work, but probably helpful to see what it should look like and possibly photos of issues others have had

4WD check, vibrating gas pedal, leaking TP glass roof, seats comfortable, seat belts, center arm rest, rear wheel hop at 60-70mph, bed noises, … way to much to check, just buy truck and have and adventure!

it's better for people to look and if they think it's fine after reading the issue and looking and still don't see it then they'll be happy and that's all that matters.
