Clearly there are people that have issues with their brand new trucks, whether they be 2015 or any other year - or for that matter any other vehicle. One of the dangers of a forum about anything is that while it opens people's eyes to potential issues, it also creates issues - i.e. 2 or 3 posts about "my F-150 has this problem" lead people to believe that it's a statistically significant event. Ford sold 750,000+ F series last year. How many of them had major issues?
While I used this forum to gain knowledge about the F-150 I was going to buy in 2013, I think some are both obsessing about perceived problems as well as not building a relationship with the dealer that they're buying from. I've been going to the same dealer since my we moved 8 years ago, and have the Service Manager's direct line and email address. I bought a Fusion from them, had some issues, he got them fixed. Had a bigger issue, they could not fix, Ford didn't help much, I pushed Ford harder and Ford came through and Service Manager was both impressed and helpful in resolving. When my F-150 had rusty marks on both tow hooks - he replaced without blinking. When the wheels had factory coating remnants that keep appearing when the wheel got a bit dirty, he had them cleaned off 3 different times.
Yes, inspect your new truck, in daylight, closely. Drive it if you want to make sure your dealer did their job (mine did). But some need to get less OCD and enjoy their new truck instead of looking for every little problem.
I'm RickTwuhk, and that's my opinion.

Couple more you can add:
Check for oil drips from turbo supply lines not tightened, rear axles leaking/seeping fluid
Roof gutters/seams coming up/bubbling
Vehicle pulling to the right (reported by some)
Hope that helps

Great list.
When picking up a new vehicle I check the seat fabric and headliner for cuts or grease that may have been caused during detailing by a careless mechanic. *( didn't see that listed ) Once you leave the lot anything like that is very difficult to show cause. Outside I just check for damage and any obvious fitment issues.
