2015 F-150 Brakes went out today
https://www.f150forum.com/f118/2015-...-miles-302121/
So I am at a point where I don't really like my F-150 given the problems in the thread above. The dealer installed transfer case number 3 in early August and that unit now needs to be replaced. I have not yet gone back to the dealer as I am sick of doing so. Well today I didn't have a choice.
This morning I had to have it towed to the dealer as the brakes went out. While heading to the gym I press the brake pedal and much to my surprise the pedal goes nearly all the way to the floor to get me any stopping power at all. A genuine oh **** moment that really got my attention. So I limp to the nearest parking lot and call my insurance company. They send out a tow truck and I ride to the dealer. I relay them the brake issue and point out transfer case #3 needs to be replaced.
Suffice it to say Ford has nearly lost me on this 2015 F-150. I am having way too many issues and I don't care if it is a major redesign. Sure my aluminum doors don't line up all that well but I knew that could be an issue and inspected my truck before signing on the dotted line. But three transfer cases and now a brake failure???????
Not feelin' the Ford love right now and don't want this truck anymore.

I guess I was luckier than you as my brakes when out while parked so only left me stranded with a truck that will start but can't move as it's stuck in park.
I guess brakes are going to be the new hot problem? Now that the seats are getting fixed.

Does lemon law help you? My first ford, knowing what I know now, might be my last. Sad thing is seems to go unnoticed, guess it takes 12 casualties before Ford issues any recalls.

Thats terrible , if I'm not mistaken ford has used the same drivetrain , from the tranny back , since 09 on the 150s and now I'm hearing of all these problems. What did those brilliant engineers feel like they needed to change this time ? Leave it to ford to go from a good thing and somehow fck it up. Kind of like the changed strut design in the front of the 4wd's, really what was so wrong with the way it was?? My 15 has definitly not been what I expected. It already has more rattles in the dash than my 05 did. Ford is becoming a joke and im as die hard blue as it gets

Oh god forbid you contact customer service (corporate) they are beyond worthless. Open a case?? ****, you be lucky to ever get your case manager to answer the phone. They call once every 2 weeks and if you miss that call youre screwed, even if you call right back. I know, Ive owned 2 2015 Mustang GT premiums now, had nothing but issues with the second one. Finally the dealer bought it back from me. Got an F150, at least these wont depreciate like the Mustangs will.

My original thread title said, "2015 Ford F-150 Brake Failure" but that was too harsh. While failure is pretty accurate, there was enough pedal pressure for me to be able to stop so maybe some "failure percentage less than 100" but as long as I get my point across I am content.
