2015 Ecoboost Blew Up - Need Help
Hi all,
this week the 3.5 Ecoboost engine blew in my truck under normal highway driving. I purchased used as a CPO and have had it for less than two months. The truck only has 8100 miles on it.
Can anyone tag a ford service rep? The dealer says it can get an engine but there are none in stock and no ETA. Needless to say, I am severely disappointed in the truck and need help.
Thanks in advance

Are you tuned/modified? If so you're on your own. Call the national service hotline 1-866-631-3788 and open a case, start talking to your dealer. Get ready for a long fight, so be patient and courteous.

Not sure, what the status of your bumper to bumper warranty is, but you should still have some type coverage
This forum is not your customer service, contact your dealer an start the process properly. If the selling dealer is not helpful, try another dealer or ask for a local area manager that covers that region. Hope things work out for you, good luck.

Truck is stock - blew up is a hole in the driver's side block. I was not out to use the forum as a replacement for a conversation with Ford, but my selling dealer has been less than helpful and form service reps have been able to help me with issues before so I thought I would see if there was anyone here.

Is the vehicle out of 36 month bumper to bumper warranty? If not, it should be a warrantable repair.
How has the dealer been less than helpful? You have yet to state what they have/haven't done to meet your expectations. If the problem is the lack of engine availability the dealer has no control over Ford's inventory levels.

A CPO Ford F150 comes with a 100,000 mile power train warranty. Either way this engine will be covered under warranty unless it is determined to be abuse.
Keep us posted on how things go.
