Can anyone tag a ford service rep? The dealer says it can get an engine but there are none in stock and no ETA. Needless to say, I am severely disappointed in the truck and need help.

Thanks in advance
First and for most, WE need PICTURES, we have heard of of other catastrophic failures yet No pictures. Can you put up some pictures of this Blown up engine with a hole in the block lease

CPO should not only do the 100k powertrain warranty (7yr?), but also has a 12mo/12k mile bumper to bumper. Plus you'd have any of the remaining 3yr/36k bumper to bumper warranty, as well as the 5yr/60k mile powertrain.

Seems like if it was CPO, they'd have checked for a bad tune as well. As far as I'd be concerned, this one would be on them if its all stock with no modifications.

Hell, if you've only had it a month, it should still be running the same oil the dealership changed before you bought it. They shouldn't even be able to argue that!

Sucks... good luck.

Some fun caveats, the cheapest rental is more than $20/day, the limit is 7 days I think, and sometimes they don't have the cheap rentals (Focus in my dealer' case).
In the case of a shortage of parts, the dealer can submit a claim to Ford for reimbursement of a higher amount of a rental. The CPO coverage is $30/day as well.

OP: Have your service manager start an FMC360 case for parts assistance. They will submit a PACO request with the parts department and many times Ford will find the necessary parts to complete the repair. If not, they will assist you with additional options to help you out. I have even seen where they pull an engine off the production line somewhere to install in a customers vehicle.

Before anyone says "This is a gen1 3.5" and the plant is using gen2's, theres still Gen1's in other vehicles.
