I had 3 go out on my 2013 F.150. All in year two of owning it. Just took it to the dealership each time for a warranty fix.

I just hit what I could see, on the side edge of the door.

Or - if you pass by a Ford dealership, stop by the Parts counter and pick up a can of Motorcraft XL-5-A ....

Frozen actuators on the 2015 F150 is a common issue from what I have found on-line. I have the same issue. Problem is dealer can't do anything unless I bring it in with locks not working. They are 45 min drive so by the time I get there, heat inside of truck thaws the locks and they begin working. So unless I leave it there overnight and ensure it's below freezing when I do, they can't do anything. So I have to deal with it.. This is just unacceptable as it's an obviously know problem with so many having the issue. Ford needs to issue a recall and replace the Actuators or do whatever they need to do to fix this. Not what you would expect from a brand new truck. Just make sure every door is locked at night. I already had to remove the check-valve from the washer fluid line as it kept sticking in cold weather and I had no washer fluid spraying. That was an easy fix, but hey.. what about the years of testing they did? I guess it was in the warm south and not here in the chilly Canadian winters. C'mon Ford.. get with the program.

No, that's the stuff Ford is currently specifying in their TSB for this issue.

It's clearly working for me, but: (1) My truck is not in the problem date range and (2) I applied it as a preventative measure, not on mechanisms that had started misbehaving.
