I installed the Borla Touring split rear exit kit with black tips, 140614BC, on my 2016 5.0 last week and must say that I am very happy with it!
The sound is very mellow and under most driving conditions so far barely any louder than stock in the cabin. There is a nice growl on cold start, and once it fully warms up I'm tempted to say it could be slightly quieter than stock at idle, but a bit deeper and smoother. Get on the gas and you can tell it's there, but it's still very mild inside.
I've come to love just how quiet our trucks are inside and didn't want to ruin that, nor do I want to be that guy with the obnoxious truck running straight pipes. This exhaust sounds like it would likely have been an OEM offering on a performance vehicle, which is pretty much what I want most of my mods to look and sound like. Considering that Ford uses Borla to make their FRPP exhaust, this makes sense.
Part of me wouldn't mind just a TINY bit more sound, but I wasn't willing to chance the Sport system and hating it. I may experiment with removing the Borla resonator that's included to replace the stock resonator and see how I like it, but that'll likely be down the road a bit if I do.
