I think I read a thread or two where you responded. Sage advice, indeed. Thank you. Im worried more about a shop having to make the 12589 fit than if the sound will be satisfactory.
What did you buy that you regret and what, if anything, did you replace it with? (I remember someone buying a Roush system but regretted it because it was too loud).

Second ask the shop before purchasing see what they think.
I haven't purchased an aftermarket exhaust yet I'm close but haven't made the big jump.
My advice about not rushing has to do with virtually everything in life whether buying stocks, vehicles, parts/modifications, clothes or significant other (WIFE/HUSBAND)!

First, I do litter a lot of threats at this site!

I really appreciate everyone who tried to help me out. I hope to return the favor to you and/or pay it forward to another. The rush wasnt the decision to get a muffler.
Again, sage advice on not rushing. "One day at a time" has saved my life in more than in just one area.

Spoke to a couple members via PM, also the shop and got it figugred out, at least enough where Im comfortable. If it doesnt work out, I can change it at some in the future. However, I think it is gonna be fine. He said the supplier here doesnt carry many of the center/center. The closest Magnfow 12249 was in AL and would cost more to ship it. Im going with the 12259 center/offset in the 18" muffler. I think my old exhaust on the Cobra I had made me a little more apprehensive at first.

Shop said the warehouses in our area dont have the center/center. He also said he would be able to fit the offset in without any issues. I dont know what he'll have to do to make it fit - Im not mechanically inclined. He does a lot of business and also does a lot of race car exhausts, etc. Since I dont know what all the installation entails, I am trusting what he says. If it wont fit, then that is on him. I asked for the center/center. Whatever happens with it good, bad, or indifferent, I'll post back and let everyone know. That way if someone else comes along with the same questions, it will be right here in this thread.

They're gonna do a crimp bend "s" to line the offset back up effectively reducing the ID of the pipe used. Stock is 2.5" from the flange to the muffler then 3" out the back. Make sure they use 3" pipe between the resonator and muffler to keep the crimped pipes ID above 2.5"...they can throw a reducer in just before the resonator to mate with the 2.5" pipe.

I don't understand why you're not using the correct muffler. It can't be more than an extra $10-20 to ship the correct model in, or just order it yourself from Amazon and take it in yourself. The shop is creating extra work for themselves, and adding unnecessary bends and restrictions in your exhaust. It'll probably be minimal, but it just doesn't make sense.
