How many washers did you have to out on each bolt and how thick of washers did you use?

Sorry for all the questions...

They were probably about 1/16" to 1/8" thick. I used two on each bolt on the passenger side cause it was sagging more and one on each polt on the driver's side. 6 in total.

I've never noticed any of the trucks have a misaligned bumper. Easy fix though, shouldn't be something thats getting past inspection though. Someone isn't doing their job right when making sure these trucks are put together properly.

I don't know if I've ever seen a new f150 that doesn't look like it's frowning. It's not as noticeable on chrome/black bumpers though.

I went out and checked mine. No frown. That would drive me insane....the way some of those pics are. Yuck.

Probably some slacker on the bumper assembly line with zero pride in their work.

Maybe it had to do with how high they push the middle of the bumper up before bolting it on. I never tried to bolt it on a bit lower so that it had a bigger gap across the entire bumper.

Intresting, looks like the ruber pad design has changed. Got a new bumper for mine and the rubber pad looks different
