Default 2015 bounces to the right when hitting bumps at speed

I have a 2015 F150 and when driving and hitting a bump when driving over 40 or so the truck kicks / bounces to the right. Just today going over a bridge doing 75 mph I thought the damn thing was going to roll. And going down a gravel road hitting any kind of washboard kicks the truck to the right. If I would be going any decent speed at all the truck would probably roll. Is anyone else having this issue? My brother just drove it today and experienced the same thing. It doesn't seem safe.

It's quite dangerous. New quality shocks will help a lot. The factory shocks are garbage.

Swap out the rear shocks for starters, and see. More than likely that will be all you need. I installed Bilstiens at all four corners, and now wonder it the fronts are part of my trucks issue. The rear needed them as it would dance all over in the bad, but the ride is so bouncy and shakes after every bump that I am wondering if the fronts are too stiff.

I had the same problems you did. Replacing the rear shocks with a quality aftermarket unit for a mere 125 bucks resolved the issue entirely.

Sounds like it's been in accident or had some hard usage and something is misaligned. Does it dog-track? Have somebody follow you and see or just take it to an alignment shop.

I could see it happening consistently on a normal crowned road. The road slopes right so that would be the normal tendency. But on a flat gravel road, not so much. Regardless, if he has the alignment checked and it's right then the kickout is "normal". Feeling like the ruck is going to "roll" after hitting a bump on a paved road is not normal. Besides that, buying new shocks without knowing that alignment is right is in the throw-parts-at-it category. Not very thrifty.

Its classic bump-steer.... like people said start by changing your rear shocks, they could be very well be worn out.
Both of my trucks do it on rough pavement where the rear wheels bounce uncontrollably.... The shocks are there to control the wheel contact to the pavement.

I changed my 2018 rear shocks to Bilstien 5100s and the bump steer is gone

Bump steer happens when you hit a bump while turning. Not going straight.
