^ Haven't been able to find it again, but I'd seen a hint/preview that Morimoto has some LED-optimized projectors in the works.

That all depends on what the refund is for. If a customer sent us a product they bought for a refund and it appears to be opened, we have to test the product. Usually within 24 hours of us having the product in hand we issue refunds. That's once we have it.

Once we process the refund depending on your payment method it could take anywhere from an immediate refund (paypal) to up to a week (credit cards/banks)

I think I've seen rumblings Morimoto is developing LED based projectors, and they will be bi-x (hi and low), if so they will be nice for retrofits. I don't think they will use based "bulbs" though, they are designed around the emitters, like the Murano, Corolla, and some oher OEM LED lights.

I've been pretty unsatisfied with the "upgraded" halogens I put in my anzos, having a friend riding in the backseat of my truck one night ask if my headlights were on while riding through town didn't help any. "I kinda feel like they suck" were her exact words lol. And come to find out today one of those said lights is already out after less than 3 months (unrelated to them just sucking). So now looks like I'm faced/forced to make the LED decision. Trying to decide between the Putco Silver Lux Pro or going with 4x4truckled all around. We all know 4x4 claims to have the best but I know a few people have installed the putco and was just wondering if they would chime in with how they've held up. The other decision I need to make is whether or not to go ahead and install the CanBus harnesses, which come with the Putco. However after the discount with 4x4truckled the price works out to be the same. but it would save 40 bucks if I didn't get them, any thoughts on this?

The Putco Silverlux Pro's are the same as our XHP70, only Putco has a patent on that braided heatsink. A lot of folks I talk to, including some local dealers, prefer fan's over the heatsinks (I concur with them, I prefer the fan).

So XHP70 and SilverLux Pro will give you I... (claps hands) ...dentical results (my cousin vinny, get it?)

Even if you install the Silverlux pros, you still need to mount the ballast outside the housing, so you can't get away from that (the Silverlux are also more money since you pay for their name).

You should install the CANbus on a 2016+ as it's pretty common for those to act up WITHOUT canbus adapters. You can always add them on later from behind the wheel well.

That's my thoughts, hopefully unbiased. We'd love your business and our customer service is well known but it's your choice.

Whatever method you do, go with the XHP50 for the high beam (or an equiv style if you must). The XHP70/Silverlux pro should not be used in highs, since you don't have a shroud blocking half the light, the XHP70 will give you WEIRD results in the highs since it's a single LED bulb.

We've thought about including the CANbus adapters with our LED kits, BUT we leave it up to the customer to decide if they need them or not (not every vehicle needs them so it'd be wasted on a lot of other vehicles). And we don't want to have to increase the price to cover the inclusion, especially for folks who DO NOT need them.

Question for those in the know or have had a successful switchback install.
Purchased all the XHP50, XHP70 , CanBus's for each As well as the relocation kits for each, switchback LED turn signal bulb's & resistor's.
The question is there any reason why i can not install the CanBus on the initial installation. Whether its needed or not? Will it cause issues if it is not needed and installed?
also i read about the turn signal flickering while it was blinking? whats that about?

If you don't install the CANbus you won't damage anything. What can happen? 1 of 2 things

1) Typically the passenger side light turns off during your travels
2) You may experience flickering lights

Other then that, nothing else realy happens.

Turn signals should not flicker when in use and using a load resistor IF you used a quality LED. If you used cheap $5 LEDs on ebay, well, you get what you pay for afterall

Put some LEDs in my '16 XLT last night. Had a pair of canbus adapters & didn't need them. Lights would not fire with them installed. So far, no flicker or issues.
