I took the chance of having to go back in and add the CANbus adapters on my 2016 but they've been running perfectly for a month now. I upgraded stock halogen housing hi/low/fogs with 4x4truckleds parts.

They only install one possible way

LED Bulb ---> LED Driver ---> CANBUS Adapter ---> Vehicle Wiring

No, I haven't had a chance yet as I've been traveling a lot lately. I'll try to get some pics next week when I get back, but they do look pretty awesome!

Going out now to install mine...installed a set lastnight for a friend. That eye brow is intensely mesmerizing to look at. Beautiful. Rather than tapping into my turn signal wires though, I am going to use a waterproof pigtail set so i can remove without having to cut the splice if ever need to. Think I will also try n make it easier to run the wires for the low beam outside of the headlight housing......Pics later.

Highs and lows? I have a 17 so I probably should just add them. There isn't any negative to adding them and not needing them I am assuming right?

Nothing negative other then you have to buy them. You can always install them without, but you know the labor involved in adding them (you could always go in through the wheel well though)

Well thumbs up for the Deutsch connectors, but come on... crimp them yourself

I've been using a lot more weatherpack connectors now adays.
