What is the diagonal measurement on the new 5.5' bed?

I wonder if 7' (84") fishing poles fit okay on the diagonal then?

Even if was close, you'd having nothing more than a very, very minor bend in the pole. It's a flexible fishing pole, right?

Anybody know the width of the interior tailgate. Geometry will get you what you want if you know that. A^2+b^2=c^2

That is the equation I used. The length and width are published dimensions.

Yes, but 50.6" is the width between the wheel wells, not @ the tailgate or up front.

I did find the '09-14 inside width at the tailgate listed (on a tonneau cover site) as ~62.5.

That would put the diagonal at roughly 91.6" in a 5.5' bed for the '09-14.

The '15 would be pretty close in width, no?
