Default 2015 3.5 Eco Vs. Dodge Hemi

Brothers got a dodge 1500 w the hemi, he has heard rumblings that it's not as fast as the 3.5 eco and seems to be having a mental breakdown about it. I tried googling some things and so has he but it's hard to find some good info about the two competing against each other. Would love any info even if it isn't speed related.

Anyone have and good info? Links to articles?
Thanks in advance!

I have a '12 Ram 1500 Sport with their 6-spd err too 2nd gear 5 spd transmission. I've had two '15 Ecoboost F150's for overnight test drives. The Ford is way faster, shifts better and has more torque than my 5.7 Hemi. The Hemi makes a lot of noise and sounds great but the transmission sucks. I'm sure the newer 8spd's they put in the newer trucks are better.

The hemi is no slouch but the 3.5 Eco will leave it in the dust. Add a tune to that Eco and its Like walking away from a 6 cylinder ram

I took a Dodge Viper with my 2015 3.5EB SCREW XLT. Boy was he pissed! The only reason I think I won was his granny shifting was just crappy, but he still got beat by an F-150.

I think a Dodge Ram with a Hemi would be no match, but I don't have any personal experience other than the Dodge Viper.

No one really seems to have data which I find strange, but this is the best example of it's speed I've read . Thanks!

I traded my 2012 Ram Hemi in on my 15 ECO boost and I can personally say the eco is much faster and the torque is greater too. Like was stated before the Hemi sounds big and bad but this eco boost in the F150 is down right mean. Then I found sport mode and there is no comparison to be made between the two. F150 eco boost hands down.

Lol, just makes me laugh. My cousin has an 2004 5.7L or 5.9L not sure what it is and he just talks **** on my truck all day, just because it is a 3.5L. Sounds good and is loud but has been through 3 transmissions in 90k miles. Dodge cannot make transmissions.

The 8sp Hemis are much better driving than the 6sp. I test drove an 8sp Hemi 3.92 and it was quick for sure. I really liked the engine but ended up with a 3.5EB with 3.55 and it feels quicker. It's not night and day though.

Better now-mostly because they outsourced to ZF for their 8sp.
